Grapplers place at state

Garrison wrestled in Stanley on Friday and in New Salem on Saturday.
In Stanley we wrestled nine wrestlers and came away with two champions, Mason Smith and Earl Holmes.
Saturday, we wrestled at the New Salem Kids All-State Tournament. This is one of two state tournaments for the kids in the state of North Dakota in the folk style discipline. This tournament is one of the toughest of the year as it is usually is 2-3 times larger than any other one we will go to. This year was no exception.
Garrison had six of our eleven wrestlers that came home with trophies after placing in the top three in their weight class.
