Girls golf team off to state
Tomlinson qualifies for boys

The streak remains in tact for the Garrison-Max Troopers girls’ golf team. The ladies picked up a third place finish at the regional tournament this past weekend in Rugby to earn a spot in the state tournament for the 10th straight year – quite a feat for a team that has only two seniors – Molly Fradenburgh and Anna Pechacek. Along with Molly and Anna, the team consists of Caitlin Wilcox, Alyssa Mehlhoff, Jenna Mehlhoff and Casey Behles.
While the girls were drinking from the cup of success for the 10th time in a row, the boys’ team was not able to qualify as a team. But standout Levi Tomlinson qualified fourth individually, carding an 85, to enable himself to pack his bags for a state meet.
