Garrison versus Velva double header splits wins
The first double header of the season happened Saturday afternoon at Garrison High School.
GHS took on their rivals/friends from the north; Velva High School.
The Lady Troopers
The Lady Troopers were off to a solid start, only trailing the Aggies by one point at the end of the first quarter. Cara Schlehr had a strong first scoring six points; a field goal, a three-pointer and a free throw. Abigail Heinzen put up three of four free throws and a two-point shot, while Emily Schlehr rounded out the scoring for the quarter with a made free throw.
