Garrison tops Flasher, but falls to Standing Rock
The Garrison Boys Basketball team had back-to-back games on Thursday and Friday versus Flasher and Standing Rock, respectively.
Garrison hosted the Flasher Bulldogs Thursday evening during a double header with the girl’s teams.
The Troopers made it on the board first with Braxton Iglehart’s three-point shot. Immediately following, with Flasher halfway back down the court, B. Iglehart stole the ball for a beautiful layup under pressure. Garrison was up seven points before the Bulldogs were able to get on the board. B. Iglehart made a second layup halfway through the first and was fouled and made both free-throws. B. Iglehart hit a long three-pointer with just two minutes left in the first quarter. Next is a quick steal and breakaway layup for Brody Seidler. Finishing up the quarter Treyson Iglehart had the ball but was congested under the net. He sent a quick pass to Avery Klein who dropped one in for two points to finish with a hefty lead. Troopers up 22 to 7 at the end of the first.
