The Garrison Troopers boys basketball team took it to Underwood last week in a District 10 tile, winning going away, 69-40, over the Comets. It was the Troopers’ highest scoring output this season. Nine players tallied points led by Nash Wimer’s 17. Gabe Holt had a nice game, canning 16. Cain Foss was also in double figures, picking up 10.
Saturday, against White Shield, it was literally pouring in the Roy Schei Gym – pouring threes. Between the Warriors and Troopers 21 three-pointers were made. In a see-saw contest, in the end, White Shield prevailed by two, 68-66. Garrison had 10 treys to White Shield’s 11.
