Fitzgerald foursome takes Planning Team tournament

Twenty teams, comprised of 80 golfers, got in nine holes of golf this past Friday at the Planning Team Golf Tournament before rain washed out the final nine.
Eric Aldinger, Planning Team financial advisor and tournament coordinator, said the tournament, at the Garrison Golf Course, featured two flights with first, second and third places named in each.
Taking first place in the first flight via a tie-breaker (all teams carded a 31) was the team of Tom Fitzgerald, Lonnie Johnson, Garrison, Jerry Weigum and Brian Frederick, Bismarck.
Claiming second in the first flight was the team of Mike Youngs, Mike Gackle, Gerald Van Rooyen and Gary Larson. The foursome is from Garrison.
