Fighting like a Titan
Babe Ruth Titans take second place at sectionals

This past week, the Garrison Babe Ruth Titans traveled to Belfield to compete in their district tournament. The players entered the contest with the one seed in their division having had an excellent regular season only losing one counter game all year. Game one of the tournament
kicked things off with a bang as Garrison exploded for 20 runs against opponent Bowman. Gaige Roberts of Garrison smacked his first home run of the season and helped power Garrison’s offense to a huge win on day one. Titans players immediately followed this performance up the following day with another great showing. Against section rival Hazen, the Titans were able to walk away victorious with a 12-2 win, once again led by a home run from Roberts.
