Double eagle for the win
BY TYSON SMEDSTAD
It was another scorcher out there at 89 degrees on Sunday, but the men turned out for the Annual Men’s Prairie Golf Scramble at the Garrison Golf Course last weekend.
The usual 20 teams consisting of five members each were filled well before the deadline.
The first round was played in the blazing sun in the 88 degree heat with barely a breeze and high humidity.
At the end of Saturday’s round Calvin Krueger’s team was in the lead with a score of 56. Followed by Levi Tomlinson at 59, and Matt Chase’s team with 60.
The men were treated to a pulled pork and BBQ for dinner that evening.
