Cross Country at Rugby
Garrison runners went to Rugby this past weekend to compete in their third to the last meet of the season. The only meets remaining are the West Regional Meet Saturday, and the State Meet Oct. 22.
Co-Coach Jason Ermer said things started off in very good running conditions with the junior high girls.
Madison Meyers and Mackenzie Fuller both ran very well, he said, each getting a personal best time for the season.
Mackenzie came in at 15:06 and Madison running a 15:13.
“That was almost a minute better for each,” Ermer said.
“They have both come a long way this season,” he added.
Varsity girls followed with Katherine (KK) Fox finishing at 23:13, then varsity boys with Hunter Baer finishing with a 20:15.
