The girls came alive for this game versus the Max Lady Cossacks with a final score of 55 to 12. The Troopers came out strong shooting 12 points in the first quarter to Max’s zero. Gabby Hummel made seven of the points, Cedar Perkins with her signature three point shot, and two points from eighth grader Mia Gehring.
Quarter two was low scoring with Garrison taking in six, and Max with eight.
When the third quarter rolled around it was a different story with 23 points by the Troop with many ladies contributing to that with twos, free throws and a three pointer. Jamie Danks scored the lone point for Max.
Fourth quarter was all about the long shots, Meghan Wyman, Kaitlyn Zook and Gehring all dropped in three pointers.
