Push for Max Little League team

Three men are on a mission – create opportunities for children in Max that haven’t been available before.
Ed Rau, Colin Hankel and Waylon Delzer went before the Max school board last week with their idea of a Little League field on the school grounds. Currently, the southwest corner of the school grounds does not serve much of a purpose, but they want to change that.
“What we’re proposing is to create a Little League field in the dead corner back there that isn’t being used for anything,” the three men told the board. “Right now, the Little League program is in Garrison, and we were kind of hoping to keep it in Max.”
