Aggies dominate Bishop Ryan Lions in Homecoming showdown
The Velva-Garrison-Drake-Anamoose Aggies football team gave their home crowd plenty to cheer about on October 4 as they hosted the Bishop Ryan Lions for their Homecoming game.
In their seventh contest of the season, the Aggies powered to a 52-14 victory, thanks to a stellar second-half performance that saw them score 38 points after holding a narrow 14-7 lead at halftime.
The first half was a tightly contested affair, with the Aggies finding it challenging to distance themselves from a determined Bishop Ryan team.
Both teams showed grit and resilience on both sides of the ball, trading blows in a closely matched battle.
