POWERS LAKE – In their last game of the regular season, the Velva-Drake/Anamoose-Garrison Aggies traveled here to take on the Ray/Powers Lake Outlaws. At 8-0 coming into the evening, the Aggies held the number one slot in Region 3. The group was looking to cap off an undefeated regular season and ensure they secured home-field advantage throughout the playoffs until a possible state bid which would require a trip to Fargo. Sitting at 6-2, the Outlaws proved to be little trouble for the Aggies in this contest. The group was only able to score one touchdown on the Aggies squad, and at the time they scored most of the Aggies Junior Varsity team was on the field as the Varsity starters rested on the sideline with the contest all but decided.
