Aggies busy week nets victories

VELVA — This past week the Velva-Garrison-Max Aggies competed in two separate events, the Pembina North County Duals on Jan. 24 and the East/West Invitational in New Salem-Almont Jan. 27-28.
Jan. 24 the Aggies traveled to compete in the Pembina County North Duals and face off against Northern Lights, winning 39-35 after splitting the matches 7-7.
The Aggies received victories in the event from seven different wrestlers–Pitch Hager, Brextyn Yanish, Logan Vincent, Mason Schumaier, Kelson Mascol, Brayden Selzler, and Gabe Lakoduk all earned wins for their team through either decision or fall.
