A season ends for the Lady Troopers
Garrison team takes eighth place at state volleyball tournament

BISMARCK – Making good on their overall goal for the year, the Garrison Lady Troopers made it to the top: the Class B State Volleyball Tournament in Bismarck last week. While the tournament didn’t end as favorably as anticipated, with the Lady Troopers taking eighth place at the state level, the overall accomplishments and achievements of the team should not be taken lightly. Day 1: Garrison vs. Thompson In the quarterfinal match against the Thompson Tommies on Thursday, the Lady Troopers fell quickly during the first set 13-25. The Region 2 team, the number three seeded team for the state tournament, featured two middle setters over six feet tall, demonstrating a height advantage against the Lady Troopers.
