Max hosts annual rodeo

Max residents were treated to a muddy couple days of rodeo action the past weekend when the North Dakota Roughrider Rodeo Association stopped at Max.

A couples foursome headed by Zach Roberts of Douglas scored a 10-under 62 to claim top “gross” honors at the annual Camp of the Cross golf tournament played in near-perfect summer weather on Tuesday on the Garrison course. Finishing first in the “net” competition was a couples and father-son team led by young Levi Tomlinson of Max.
