District 10 boys begins
It’s boys basketball tournament time in North Dakota. Locally, the District 10 Boys Basketball Tournament is set to tip off today (Thursday) at Garrison.
Trooper boys, girls win
The annual county battle on the hardwood between the Washburn Cardinals and Garrison Troopers was Tuesday night. The stage was the Roy Schei Gym. When the final buzzer sounded the Trooper varsity teams had taken two from their District 10 rivals.
Trooper girls continue strong
Chalk up two more wins for the Garrison Lady Troopers. The wins came this past Friday and Saturday.
Lady T’s continue to roll
The Garrison Lady Troopers suffered their first setback of the season Monday night, a 52-47 loss to Minot’s Our Redeemers. The loss comes after the team started out 6-0.
Luring ‘em into the shack
Winter anglers are reminded that any fish house left unoccupied on North Dakota waters must be made out of materials that will allow it to float.
Galactix bring home trophies
Garrison High School’s dance team, the Garrison Galactix, was able to show off its hard work participating in the annual BHS Demonette’s Invitational Dance Competition at Bismarck High School Saturday, Dec. 21.
Lady T’s get district ‘W’
The Garrison Lady Troopers picked up a District 10 victory this past Thursday night, defeating Wilton-Wing 52-35 in Garrison.
Bombers get by Troopers
The Garrison Troopers held the visitors on the board, the Lewis & Clark Berthold Bombers in check for the better half of three quarters Tuesday night, but in the end, it was the boys in purple who came away with the victory
Shootout opens boys season
The inaugural McLean County Shootout is in the books. And by all indications, coaches and players seem to have liked the new format.
