Troopers open in Velva

The high school sports season is officially underway. It began this past Friday when the Garrison Troopers cross country team hit the ground running at the Mouse River Local in Velva.

For the first time in over a decade, a sailboat regatta will be returning to Lake Sakakawea. The picturesque event is Saturday and will be headquartered at de Trobriand Marina, Fort Stevenson State Park. Sailboat races begin at noon.
