It was a debut of sorts for the Garrison Lady Troopers Monday night at the Region 5 Tournament in Mandan. A Trooper girls team has advanced to regionals only two other times in the past 11 years, 2004 and 2011.

Trooper boys, girls win

The annual county battle on the hardwood between the Washburn Cardinals and Garrison Troopers was Tuesday night. The stage was the Roy Schei Gym. When the final buzzer sounded the Trooper varsity teams had taken two from their District 10 rivals.
