After a weekend of eventful basketball, the Garrison Lady Troopers will advance to regionals.
Troop takes a tough loss
The Troopers went against the New Town Eagles with almost the same record, and the troop was unable to walk off the court with a win.
A game with an impact
The Garrison Troopers battled the Max Cossacks, on the Cossacks home court, but unlike most games this one was more important than just who won the game.
Troopers stomp out Cardinals
The Garrison Troopers didn’t let the Cardinals fly away with a win on Tuesday night. The Garrison Troopers were able to walk off the court with another win around their belt.
Two close games
All within three points were the Underwood vs. Garrison double header games last week Thursday. The boys were able to win, but the girls came up short.
Boys keep rolling
The Trojans’ boys teams picked up a 57-55 win over the Washburn Cardinals in Washburn Friday night. The win raises the Trojans’ record to 8-1 overall and 3-0 in district play.
Garrison wins both at Shootout
Call it a varsity team, the Garrison Troopers were able to win both games during the McLean County Shootout putting them at 7-1 on their season so far.

Boy’s basketball teams from around the area are looking forward to eventful games this weekend.
Hoping for a happy ending
Injuries can stop us all from being able to perform our best, or perform at all. Clay Bendickson,15 and a sophomore at Garrison High School, saw this fate come true for him, earlier this year.
Troopers host Bulldogs
The Garrison Troopers, boys and girls basketball teams both played at the Roy Schei Gym Friday night. The Trooper boys were able to run ahead of the Flasher Bulldogs, while the Lady Troopers missed the win by one shot.
