Garrison advances to finals
In a nail biting will-they-or-won’t-they scenario building up during the quarterfinals and semifinals of the Region 5 volleyball tournament, the Garrison Lady Troopers took both games and advanced to the tournament’s final round.
Aggies one step closer to state
At this point last year, the Velva-Drake/Anamoose-Garrison Aggies marked the end of their season, following a defeat by the Bishop Ryan Lions.

Racking up two more wins over the past week, including an anxious 3-0 against the Surrey Mustangs Monday evening, the Garrison Lady Troopers are solidly maintaining their ranking in Region 5 gameplay.

Running for a spot at state
WASHBURN – Cross Country teams from Garrison, Max-South Prairie and White Shield competed here last Saturday in the North Dakota Class B West Regional Cross Country meet in preparation for the state meet on Oct. 21 in Jamestown.
Aggies record stays perfect
VELVA – Entering their matchup Friday with a perfect 6-0 record the Aggies were eager to take the field and add another victory to their total. Matched up against an 0-6 Stanley Blue Jays team Velva-Drake/Anamoose-Garrison’s team was poised to dominate yet another matchup.
Competing at the highest level
Garrison’s own Coryssa Behles qualified for state in girls’ golf and spent Sept. 26-27 competing at the Souris Valley Golf Course along with 118 of North Dakota’s best class B girls golfers.
Trooper books ticket to state
On the morning of Friday September 16, 46 golfers from North Dakota Region four gathered to compete in the Varsity Regionals with hopes of qualifying for the State golf meet.
