Royals secure second place and Region slot
South Prairie-Max’s varsity girls basketball team, the Royals, were quite busy this past weekend
Warriors take down New Town
White Shield’s boys basketball program participated in only one contest this week, but they made sure fans got their money’s worth. Feb. 9 the team traveled to New Town and defeated the Eagles 79-49.
Bombers fail to detonate in Lady Troopers victory
After a terse four quarters last Thursday evening, the Garrison Lady Troopers successfully diffused the Lewis & Clark-Berthold Bombers in a close 59-55.
Warriors’ district record untouched
Three days of back-to-back games, all against teams in District 15, ended on Saturday afternoon with the White Shield Warriors maintaining a so-far perfect district record.

Aggies busy week nets victories
This past week the Velva-Garrison-Max Aggies competed in two separate events, the Pembina North County Duals on Jan. 24 and the East/West Invitational in New Salem-Almont Jan. 27-28.
Troopers on a roll
The Garrison basketball program traveled to Washburn for a boys and girls double-header last Tueday, with Garrison’s boys taking care of business quite easily, winning 65-33.
Warriors offense shows signs of life
This past week the White Shield Warriors girls team participated in a busy week, competing in three contests – a road game in North Shore-Plaza, and two home games against New Town and Solen – all of which resulted in losses for the group.
Troopers split weekly schedule
Last week the Garrison Troopers boys basketball team competed in two contests, a home game against the Velva Aggies that the Troop won 78-66 and a road contest against heated rival Shiloh Christian that ended in a resounding Troopers defeat, 87-58.
