Another year of salary negotiations is over. Steve Brannan, Garrison school superintendent, and Jennifer Bowerman, business manager, received a 6 percent raise at Monday evening’s board meeting.
Brannan’s salary package is $99,758 with a benefit package valued at $15,411. Bowerman will receive $51,380, plus a benefit package of $15,386. Each received $500 for reimbursed medical expenses. Bowerman’s benefit package tripled when she moved from a single health insurance plan to a family plan.
The board also approved a $1 per hour increase for all support staff plus an increase in the medical insurance reimbursement to 75 percent for employees who work 30 hours a week or 130 hours a month or more. Full time employees receive 100 percent health insurance reimbursement.
Bus drivers were approved for a 6 percent pay increase plus a similar health insurance package.
Extra curricular contracts were increased $60 to anyone who received a satisfactory evaluation. Head coaches evaluate assistants and the athletic director evaluates head coaches.
