Records broken, tickets punched for state meet
MINOT — Tracksters from the Garrison Troopers will participate in 10 events at the 2023 NDHSAA Class B Track and Field State Meet at the Bismarck Community Bowl, starting today (Thursday).
Prior to the North West Region meet, held in Minot on May 20, three students had qualified for individual events. Senior TJ Syvertson qualified for the 110-meter hurdle, Karli Klein in the 100-meter hurdles and Connor Kerzmann qualified for the triple jump. In addition, two relay teams – junior Avery Klein, freshman Darian Limesand, sophomore Finnigan Smedstad and Kerzmann in the 4x100 relay and Syvertson, Avery Klein, Limesand and Kerzmann in the 4x200 relay – qualified.
