Play in the Street Night is Saturday in Garrison

It’s been a topic of discussion for quite some time – this past winter has seemed especially long. Spring, on the other hand, was almost elusive as local residents coped with lingering snow and cool temperatures.
Finally, now on the downhill side of May, its time to start enjoying the milder weather. It’s time to have fun in the great outdoors!
An opportunity to do just that is planned for Saturday in Garrison during Play in the Street Night. There is no charge to attend and it will include activities appropriate for kids of all ages.
The fun will begin with games and karaoke (Funtyme Karaoke and DJ Service) and conclude with a dance. Throughout the evening, local Relay for Life teams will be conducting fundraisers. A team from the Benedictine Living Center will offer hair beads, nail ribbon appliqués and can Koozies.
