Garrison’s bid for state tournament berth falls short
A new format in the state’s three-class system gives the second and third place teams in each of the four region tournaments another chance to get into the State Class B Tournament, and even though Garrison fell to Bowman County (40-75) in the Region 3 Tournament Championship Game, March 7, the Troopers got a second chance to earn a berth in the state tournament if they could pick up a win against Our Redeemer’s Christian (Minot) in a state-qualifier game, March 9, at 4 Bears Event Center in New Town.
