Garrison PD hit
Garrison Police officer Kaare Halsey was hit in his squad car on Thursday afternoon.
“He is ok, but is taking a sick day,” Garrison Mayor Stu Merry said.
Garrison resident Mogan Seidler failed to yield on the corner of Central Ave. and 4th Street and struck the cruiser on the driver side backseat panel.
The damage to the cruiser was minimal, but this is a reminder for people to look all ways at all intersections no matter if marked or unmarked.
