County tax statements mailed
The 2015 McLean County Real Estate Tax statements have been mailed.
McLean County Auditor Les Korgel said approximately 18,000 statements were sent.
"If you have not received your statement by Dec. 18, contact the county treasurer’s office at 701-462-8541," Korgel said.
Korgel went on to say this year’s tax statements will generally be higher than the 2014 tax statements.
Korgel gave some examples of $100,000 homes in various McLean County cities. The 2015 taxes in Wilton is $839.33 compared to $750.78 in 2014; Washburn $852.63 compared to $778.30; Underwood $917.37 compared to $845.50.
