Christmas comes to Max

A little bit of rain didn’t damper Christie Narum’s Christmas spirit Sunday evening. Narum, the auditor for the City of Max, arranged an evening of Christmas festivities to help
kick off the holiday season in the city. Thankfully, the rain didn’t last too long. As the sun began to set a little after 5 p.m., members of the Max community arrived at the Max City Hall to celebrate the Christmas holiday. Inside, they enjoyed cookies and homemade hot cocoa and cider. A carriage, pulled by a pair of majestic looking horses, clip-clopped along Main Street. Standing by the Christmas tree, which Narum brought from her property, were carolers from the Max School choir. Led by teacher Daniel Starks, the students filled the evening air with music.
