Chamber encourages teachers-board to settle

Teachers and school board members got an earful recently from the Garrison Chamber of Commerce.
The message came in the form of a letter from the executive committee of the Garrison Chamber of Commerce to the Garrison Education Association, Garrison School Board and school administration.
“The Chamber of Commerce works very hard to create a friendly business environment to attract locals and visitors alike. We feel the impasse has created a black cloud over our community,” the letter said. “Again, we strongly encourage you to open up the line of communications with each other to resolve your differences and get back to focusing on what is important, the education of our youth.”
