Boat dealer coming to town

It’s official – there’s going to be a new boat dealership relocating to Garrison. And according to the business’s general manager, the move should begin in early June.
Jason Foss, general manager of North Country Marine & Motorsports of Minot, said the business will be located on four acres just east of Garrison on the south side of N.D. Highway 37. The business will be just east of the green shop that is being built by Tom Iglehart (Iglehart Service and Repair).
Foss said he is looking forward to the move.
“This is where our home is going to be,” he said. “We are going to put down roots.”
Once situated, the business will offer one-stop shopping – everything from sales to service to parts and accessories. Plans are to also offer shrink wrap and secure outside storage. The hope is to offer everything that a boater would need at a location minutes away from Lake Sakakawea.
“Anything from rigging a new boat to general maintenance,” Foss said. “Anything with a motor, we can do work on it.”
