Armstrong pays visit to Washburn

BY ALYSSA MEIER

It was a casual meet and greet with a little over a dozen people Monday, when U.S. Congressman Kelly Armstrong visited Washburn Monday.
Armstrong, who was elected in 2019 to serve as a N.D. Representative in Congress, spent an hour Monday morning visiting with locals at the Washburn Memorial Building.
The Congressman visited with Washburn City Commission President Larry Thomas and McLean County State’s Attorney Ladd Erickson, among others, during the visit, while seated casually on a table in front of the audience.
