Ambulance to ask for max mills

Memorial Day programs to be held in region
American Legion posts from the region will be ceremoniously celebrating Memorial Day this coming Monday. Garrison The Hugh P. Minnehan American Legion Post 49 of Garrison will host a program at the Garrison City Auditorium, starting at 10 a.m.
The McLean County Commission passed a motion to remove two stop signs near 36th Ave SW, commonly known as Wolf Creek road, during its May 24 meeting.

Growing up
Rome wasn’t built in a day, but the new silos at CHS Garrison were close: in a week’s time, their new silos grew and grew to an impressive 142 feet. Concrete was poured shortly before noon on May 2. Shortly after 1 a.m. this past Sunday, with construction going 24/7, external work was completed with the last bit of concrete poured.
