Warriors stop Trojans

The Warriors from Standing Rock defeated the Trojans 71-48 in region 5 quarter final action Monday afternoon at Legacy High School in Bismarck.
Hunter Jacobs led all scorers with 23 points. The Warriors grabbed a 10-5 at the 1:36 mark after Kole Ironshield scored on a break and the Hunter Jacobs show started at the 1:03 mark when he buried a triple from the left wing eleven seconds later he got a steal and bucket and with 0:29 remaining Jacobs drove for two and was fouled. After the made free throw the Trojans led 13-10 but a short jumper from Donnie Blivens cut the Trojans lead to 13-12 at the end of one.
Second quarter action saw Ironshield score a triple from the left wing and Blivens got a put-back to put the Warriors in front 17-13 but the Trojans answered with a triple from the left wing from Blake Anderson and Jacobs drove for two to put the Trojans in front 18-17 at the 5:28 mark.
