Trojans wrap up regular season

The boys wrapped up the regular season this past week with a loss at Standing Rock Friday night and a win at home against Kidder County Saturday night.
The Trojans end the regular season with a 12-7 record overall and 5-1 in district play.
The Trojans are the number one seed in the upcoming District 10 Tournament that will be held at Washburn Feb.24, 25 and 27. The first game for the Trojans will be against the winner of the Wilton/Wing and Underwood game, the second game on Feb. 25.
Against the Warriors Friday night, the Trojans trailed 10-9 at the end of the first quarter. Second quarter action saw the Trojans rack up 17 points and held the Warriors to five points as they took a 26-15 lead at the half time break.
Third quarter action saw the momentum on the Warriors’ side as they rallied and outscored the Trojans 24-10 and led at the end of three 39-36.
The Warriors continued to roll through the fourth quarter as the Trojans struggled in the scoring department scoring just eight points and at one time missing eleven shots in a row.
The 61-44 win for the Warriors raised their season record to 9-10.
