Trojans trounce Comets

Turtle Lake-Mercer-McClusky elementary boys basketball team defeated the Underwood Comets in two home games in McClusky.
In the first game, the Trojans jumped to an early lead, scoring eight points to the Comets’ two in the first quarter.
The second quarter saw the Trojan players scoring four and the Comets just one point, leaving the score at 12-3 at halftime, the Trojans’ favor.
The Comets kept the Trojans from scoring the final two quarters, while the Trojans only allowed the Underwood team three more points.
The final score was 12-6. Julius Anderson led the team in points, scoring six of the 12 points. Dylan Schadegg and Dayne Holt followed up with four and two points, respectively.
