All five starters scored in double figures as the Turtle Lake-Mercer-McClusky Trojans defeated the Linton Lions 84-61 in the 2011-2012 season opener.
Adam Peltier led the Trojans with 24 points followed by Nathan Rauhauser with 20.
Tyler Human and Ryan Dralle each scored 11 points for the Lions.
The Trojans took a 19-9 first quarter lead with Nathan Rau-hauser scoring 8 of his 20 points.
The second quarter saw the Lions cut into the Trojans lead as they scored 25 points to the Trojans 20. Tyler Human scored 8 points for the Lions and Adam Peltier scored 12 for the Trojans.
The third quarter saw the Trojans make 12-5 run on the Lions and take a 53-39 lead.
Back-to-back buckets from Tucker Fylling the last two minutes of the third quarter gave the Trojans a 61-48 lead to end the quarter.
