Trojans take two from Cardinals

The Trojans traveled to the home of the Cardinals from Washburn last Thursday night and were the winners in both games. A triple from Mackenzie Holt with 44 seconds left lifted the Trojans from trailing 29-31 to leading 32-31 and a free throw from Sophie Sparrow with 2.6 seconds sealed the game at 33-31.
A triple just 12 second into the game from Devin Shadegg and another 40 seconds later got the Trojans off to a quick start and never looked back as they rolled to the win 64-39. Next up for the Trojans are a district doubleheader game at Center/Stanton Jan. 28 and a boys’ game at Mandaree, Jan. 30. Jan. 31 is a boys’ home game with Velva and Feb.1 is a doubleheader game at Towner/Granville/Upham.
