Trojans take down Lions and Bison
Laframboise pours in 30

The Trojans boys season has started with wins over Linton/Hazelton/Moffit/Braddock 55-51 and Hazen 76-46.
Seth Laframboise scored a game-high 30 points against the Hazen Bison Friday night in Hazen. Laframboise scored six two-pointers, two three-pointers and made 12 of 15 free throw attempts.
AJ Ketterling and Trapper Jacobs also scored in double figures against the Bison with 19 and 12 points respectively.
Leading scorers for the Bison were Garret Ward and Isaac Doll with 14 each.
The Trojans got on the scoreboard first against the Bison with Gunner Jacobs and AJ Ketterling getting buckets but the Bison took an 11-9 lead at the 2:56 mark after a bucket from Payton Leintz from the right wing.
The Trojans answered the Leintz' bucket with a pair of free throws and a bucket from Laframboise and a deuce from Ketterling to take a 16-11 lead.
Back-to-back buckets from the Bison cut the Trojans’ lead to 16-15 at the end of one.
Second quarter action stared with Ketterling getting a couple of buckets and Bo Anderson a triple for a 7-0 run for the Trojans as they took a 23-15 lead.
It was the Seth Laframboise show the last four minutes of the quarter as he outscored the Bison 10-7 and the Trojans led a the half time break 37-27.
Third quarter action saw the Trojans with a 10-2 run midway through the quarter and take a 51-35 lead at the 2:26 mark.
Trapper Jacobs scored a triple and a double, Laframboise a triple and Trey Klain a double in the run.
