Trojans sweep Cossacks

The Trojans took two from the Max Cossacks Monday night in Max. The girls took the hard court first and won 51-32 and the boys contest had the Trojans winning 58-35.
The girls improved to 5-2 overall and 1-0 in district play. The Cossacks slip to 2-5 and 0-1.
The boys picked up their first win after losing their first two games. In district play they are 1-0. The Cossacks slip to 1-2 and 0-1.
The girls play at Hazen Dec. 29th and Jan. 7th is a home game with Garrison.
The boys play at the Mandan Holiday Tournament Dec. 28, 29 and 30.
The Trojans raced to a 9-0 lead to start the girls contest the duo of Mariah Sellon and Tatum Fylling scored all the Trojans points in the first quarter. Sellon scored 8 and Fylling 4.
The first score for the Cossacks came at the 3:06 mark when Cassisdy Huesers scored a triple from the right wing.
The Trojans led at the end of one 12-6.
