Trojans see a win/lose week

The Turtle Lake-Mercer McClusky Trojans won one game but lost another this past week Monday night the Trojans defeated the Wilton/Wing Miners 3 games to 2. Last Tuesday night the Trojans lost to the Garrison/Max Troopers 3 games to 0.

Jacy Hausauer led the Trojans in kills with 12. Rachel Hanson was the leader in assists with 26.
The Trojans started game one taking a 6-0 lead; Amy Lee started with an ace. Kim Tkach added a kill and Lee added another ace. Rachel Hanson put down four aces in a 6-0 run for the Trojans to go from a 7-2 lead to a 12-2 lead. From there the Trojans coasted to a 25-10 win.
The Miners took a 5-2 lead in game two with an ace from Kaeley Schatz and a kill from Kelley Heck. The Miners were able to hold a three to four-point lead until Courtney Hausauer put down a kill and Hanson added an ace to cut the Miners’ lead to 13-12.
The game tied at 13 when Alexis Hochhalter put down three consecutive aces for the Miners to take an 18-13 lead.
A kill from Jacy Hausauer cut the Miners’ lead to 21-19; another kill from Hausauer tied the game at 22.
The Miners picked up a couple of points on side-outs; then Schatz scored the 25th point on a block for the Miners’ 25-23 win.
The Trojans took a 6-4 lead in game three with Hanson and Courtney Hausauer getting aces and Tkach a kill.
Back-to-back aces from Miners Joey Heck tied the game at 7.
The Trojans took a 10-7 lead with a kills from Hanson and Tkach. The Trojans maintained a 2-3 point lead until Hanson got a block to make the score 23-20 Trojans.
