Trojans season starts

The Turtle Lake-Mercer McClusky girls started the 2016-17 season at the McLean County shoot out in Wilton Dec. 2 and 3.
The girls first game was against White Shield Friday afternoon. A very slow start for the Trojans saw them with just two free throws the first quarter and a two to tie as the Warriors scored just on field goal.
The Trojans picked up the pace the second quarter as they got off a few more shots than the first quarter.
The Trojans also did a good job rebounding on the defensive end only giving the Warriors one chance at scoring.
