Trojans defeat Coyotes in tight match

The Coyotes were in Turtle Lake and came ready to play as they jumped out to an 11-3 lead in the first game but the Trojans chipped away at that lead and caught the Coyotes at 18. From there, with kills from Jordyn Sondrol and Devon Belisle, the Trojans eased to a 25-23 win. The second game was close with the largest lead being the final score, 25-20, Trojans. The score was tied nine times. An ace by Jenna Bayless broke the last tie of the game. A side out turned out to be the game’s winning point. The third game saw the Trojans take an 8-2 lead with Bayless and Belisle getting kills. The Trojans stretched that lead to 21-11. A side out, an ace from Neilie Dockter, and a kill from Jacy Hausauer of the Coyotes closed the lead to 21-14.
