Trojans defeat Cossacks

The Trojans defeated the Max Cossacks, 62-41, in the girls game and in the boys game it was 82-54 in the Trojans’ favor.
The win for the girls evens their regular season record to one win and one loss. The win for the goys evens their record at two win and two losses.
The Trojans’ last game before the Christmas break is a double-header with Velva on the home court Dec. 20.
Girls
Jacy Hausauer led the Tro-jans with 18 points, followed by Sabrina Rust with 13 and Taylor Fylling with 12.
Kim Delzer led the Cossacks with 11 points.
Sabrina Rust got the Trojans on the board first with a triple. Rust was answered by MaKayla Huesers and Whitney Huesers with two-pointers to put the Cossack in front, 4-3, at the 7:00 mark.
Rust put the Trojans in the lead 6-4 at the 6:41 mark with a triple.
A bucket from Whitney Hue-sers and a pair of free throws from Kim Delzer put the Cos-sacks in front, 8-6, at the 5:51 mark.
A bucket from Taylor Fylling tied the game and couple of free throws from Rust put the Trojans in the lead, 10-8.
A triple from MaKayla Hue-sers put the Cossacks back on top, 11-10, at the 4:39 mark.
A couple of base-line jumpers and a free throw from Hausauer put the Trojans on top 15-11.
A triple, with just seconds left, from Whitney Huesers made the first quarter score 15-14 in the Trojans’ favor.
The Trojans made a 9-2 run to start the second quarter and take 24-16 lead.
