The Trojans boys team defeated the New Town Eagles 78-46 on the home court Thursday night.
The win puts the Trojans at nine wins and one loss. The Trojans have double-headers with Washburn on the home court Jan. 17. On Jan. 19 they are on the bus to Harvey and Jan. 22 it is a road trip to Underwood.
The Trojans put three players in double figures with Adam Peltier netting 21, Kevin Klemisch 19 and Nathan Rau-hauser 15.
Wayne Fox was the scoring leader for the Eagles with 13.
The Trojans went up 14-9 at the 1:11 mark after buckets from Peltier, Klemisch and Marcus Tomlinson. But then a couple of buckets from Nelson Whitetail made the first quarter score 14-13 Trojans.
A bucket from Klemisch at the 5:21 mark put the Trojans up: 20-17.
The Eagles then made a 6-0 run that stared with Joe Baker getting a deuce. Then Wayne Fox made one of two free throws and Myles Young Wolf put down a triple to put the Eagles out front, 23-20, at the 4:55 mark.
