Trojans beat Lions and Bison

The Turtle Lake-Mercer Mc-Clusky Trojans boys opened the 2012-2013 season with wins against Linton Hazelton Moffit Braddock 49-47 and Hazen 71-59.
The Trojans traveled to Haz-elton to take on the Linton HMB Lions on Tuesday night for their first game of the season.
Adam Peltier was the leading scorer with 18 points. Nathan Rauhauser also scored in double figures with 14.
Mason Ryckman was the lead-ing scorer for the Lions with 20 points.
The Trojans trailed the entire first half and were down 25-23 at the half time break.
Three-pointers from Adam Peltier and Marcus Tomlinson at the start of the third quarter gave the Trojans a 29-25 lead.
The Trojans lead dwindled down to just one point late in the fourth quarter but a free throw from Kevin Klemisch put the Trojans up 49-47 with just a few seconds left.
A last-second shot from the Lions was off the mark, making the final score 49-47.
Friday night, the Hazen Bison were in town for the Trojans’ second game of the season.
