Trojans and Cardinals tangle

The Cardinals from Washburn were in town for a district double header Friday night and at the end of the evening both teams won a game.
In the boys game the Trojans defeated the Cardinals 58-48 to move to 3-0 in district play and 7-2 overall. The Cardinals slip to 2-1 in the district and 4-3 overall.
The girls did not fare well as they were defeated 58-19 and slipped to 0-3 in district play and 2-7 overall. The Cardinals are 1-2 in district play and 4-7 overall.
The Trojans play a district double header at Underwood Jan. 17.
Jan. 19, 20 and 21 there is a girls JV tournament at TLMM and a boys JV tournament at Wilton.
Jan. 24 the Trojans host Center/Stanton in a district double-header.
