Fylling and Peltier All Tournament

The Turtle Lake-Mercer Mc-Clusky Trojans paced fifth in the Mandan Holiday Tournament this past week.
Tucker Fylling and Adam Peltier were named to the All Tournament team. Other members of the team are Justin McCloud and Mark LaCroix from Bottineau. Donovan Lambert, Aaron Hulstrand and Joey Dwyer from Shiloh Christian. Cory Keating from Wilton/Wing, Jonah Schwartzenberger from Napoleon and Taylor Krenz from Flasher.
Trojans 75-Skyhawks 92
The Trojans opened the tournament against the Shiloh Christian Skyhawks and were on the short end of the score.
Adam Peltier led the Trojans with 24 points and the Skyhawks leading scorer was Donavan Lambert with 33 points.
Kevin Klemisch got the Tro-jans on the score board first with a short jumper but he was answered by Donavan Lambert with a deuce a triple and another deuce to put the Skyhawks in the lead 7-2.
A bucket from Adam Peltier cut the Skyhawks lead to 7-4 at the 4:08 mark.
Skyhawks then scored on three triples and a two pointer and took an 18-10 lead at the end of one.
The second quarter the Tro-jans fell behind by as many twenty points 43-23 as the three pointers for the Skyhawks were going in and the Trojans were not getting back on defense resulting in easy baskets for Skyhawks.
