The Turtle Lake-Mercer McClusky Trojans finished in second place at the McLean County Invitational tournament this past weekend. The Beulah Miners defeated the Trojans, 75-63, in the championship game.
The Trojans defeated the Garrison Troopers, 62-38, in quarter final action. Other quarter final games saw Beulah defeating Underwood 87-52; Max beating Center/Stanton 72-48; and Washburn beat Mandaree 60-38.
Semi-final action saw the Trojans defeating Washburn 74-64 and Beulah beat Max 81-54.
Consolation action Center/Stanton slipped past Underwood 50-47 and Garrison won by forfeit over Mandaree. Mandaree did not make the trip due to the weather.
Mandaree defeated Underwood for seventh place 58-51; Center/Stanton got by Garrison for fifth place 66-55; Washburn defeated Max 76-65 for third place.
