TL-M-M District 10 runners up

The Trojans placed second in the District 10 Tournament held in Underwood this past week. The Garrison Troopers defeated the Trojans in a hard fought battle, 48-43.
Tasha Williams, Mariah Sellon and Trista Crimmins were named to the 2015 All District 10 team.
Other members of the team are Madison Jaeger, Ellie Gehring and Taylor Kamp from Garrison; Makayla Koski and Tonya Dickson from Wilton/Wing; Carly Freeman from Washburn; Madeline Henke from Center/Stanton; Erin Dammann from Underwood; and Cheyenne Jacobson from Max.
Mariah Sellon and Tatum Fylling were named to the 2015 District 10 All-Tournament Team.
Other members of the team are Taylor Kamp, Ellie Gehring and Shelby Gehring from Garrison; Paige Hausauer and Tonya Dixon from Wilton/Wing; Lindsey Duben from Underwood; Heidi Scheetz from Washburn and Cheyenne Jacobson from Max.
2015 District 10 Senior Athlete of the Year went to Madison Jaeger from Garrison and the 2015 District 10 Coach of the Year went to Pablo Ronderos from Washburn.
District Tournament action for the Trojans started with a 62-43 win over the Center/Stanton Wildcats.
Mariah Sellon was the scoring leader for the Trojans with 16 points. Tasha Williams followed with 14 points and Kennedy Sondrol with 13.
Rachel Vitek and Brynn Dynn Walking Elk each scored eight points for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats took the early lead, 4-3, after a couple of buckets from Katie Windhorst but the Trojans answered with a 10-0 run to take the lead: 13-4.
Tasha Williams scored a couple of deuces and a pair of free throws and Mariah Sellon got a bucket and a pair of free throws in the run.
